Scott started his career in automotive sales in June 1982. Over the years he managed dealerships in Virginia, Alabama, and Maryland.

In May 2009 he switched over to propane managing a customer service center for a leading propane supplier working in Tennessee, Florida, and Mississippi. By 2019 he moved into a General Manager position facilitating license applications for multiple locations, ensuring compliance with all state and federal safety standards.
