Doug Rowan began his career in the LP gas industry in 1995, working in an electric motor shop where he gained hands-on experience rewinding electric motors and rebuilding pumps. In 1997, he transitioned to working on LP gas pumps, which led to a position with one of the industry's major propane companies. Starting with cylinder delivery and equipment servicing, Doug quickly advanced into a service technician role and became the lead tech for multiple service areas.

Eager to deepen his industry knowledge, Doug immersed himself in all aspects of propane systems and equipment. By 2000, he was promoted to Service Manager, overseeing four regions across North Alabama. In 2005, he joined a small equipment company as an inside salesman and technical trainer, providing instruction on Corken and Blackmer pumps, TracPipe systems, and small engine conversions.

In 2007, Doug became Safety Director for the Southeast, where he ensured full compliance across DOT records, storage plants, and safety protocols. A year later, he was called to the Mid-Atlantic to build a large-scale LP gas distribution system, including a state-of-the-art bulk plant. Upon returning to the South, Doug led efforts to bring 18 storage facilities up to 2011 compliance standards while simultaneously managing five districts.

Doug joined Tarantin Industries in 2010 as an Outside Sales Representative and currently serves customers across Tennessee and Georgia. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Propane Gas Association (TNPGA) as the Junior Supplier Director.
